James Pidgeon
James E. Pidgeon, 80, of Collinsville, Ill., born Dec. 19, 1935 in East St. Louis, Ill., died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Jim was the owner/operator of Huegle Printing Company in East St. Louis, Ill. He started teaching in 1967 for Unit 10 and taught graphic arts at Collinsville High School and later taught at Maryville Elementary School. Jim also served in the Marine Corp Reserves.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillian, nee Huegle, Pidgeon; and his brother, John Pidgeon.
Surviving are his children, Matthew (Nancy) Pidgeon of Belleville, Ill., and Patricia (Mark) Storey of St. Louis, Mo.; his grandchildren, William Pidgeon, John Pidgeon, Nicholas Storey and Michaela Storey; and his beloved friend, Mary Stanley.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill., with Father Matt Elie officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
