Ray-Man the Ray-Man! That's what I called him.... A hero in my book. His work ethic was high, his love for his family and grandchildren was high, his strength amazing. Didn't have a mean bone in his body... Smiled a lot, frowned very little... Cared for others.... See you in heaven Ray-Man!

Ray was our neighbor for many years. And although I grew up and our family moved away I will never forget the advice and long talks we had in the driveway. I have never met someone so meticulous about their yard and the pride he took in it. Prayers to his family He was a person I could talk to when things were difficult for a high school and college kid. I always have and always will look up to him as a man of faith family and life. He helped teach a young kid to be a man. Thank you Ray.

I was fortunate to know Ray when he worked at Petrolite as a safety officer. Ray was one of the Good Guys. This picture is the Ray I remember!

I had the honor and privilege of working with Ray at the American Red Cross from 2000-2009. I was blessed to call him my friend. We laughed and cried together. His work ethic was amazing and he was as strong as an ox. I know that because I was the recipient of many of his bear hugs. He was also a great dancer. We danced all night at Scott Marquardt's wedding! He was always there for his family and loved all of you so very much. He also loved George. He loved to tell us the latest "George story" and we would all laugh with him. God bless all of you. I know you will miss him terribly.
