Uncle Richard was always great to me. When I was a kid, he seemed like a powerful giant, but he was always smiling and in good humor. When I was a teen and the dealership was in E St Louis, he gave me a steal of a deal on the only hot rod I ever owned. Later, when I barely limped into the North Belt location in Belleville in a beat up jalopy, he generously accepted it as a trade-in on a reliable little car. It wasn't just me. He was a genuinely giving person. But while I am just his nephew, Uncle Richard made me feel special. I felt like he truly loved me. Uncle Richard was a great guy. I loved my Uncle Richard.

I am very sorry about the passing of a fine man, my uncle Richard, but also sorry that I did not learn of the wake and service in time to attend. We extend our deep sympathies to Aunt Marge and the immediate family. Sincerely, Doug and Susan Salsbury

Take your Warrior's rest for a duty well done.

I wish to extend to members of your family my deepest sympathy on their loss. May the force of GOD be with them as they walk through this difficult time. May the loving promises of our LORD and Savior comfort them and give them strength.

As a grateful Veteran, I leave my sympathy and hope you accept this as a small token of appreciation for the honorable and faithful service rendered by your loved one to our Country.
