Dear Wyvetter,

During this time of deep sorrow and loss for you, your family, and your many friends, we also honor Richard's life, his courage, his devotion to you his soulmate, to his children, and to the betterment of life for every person in his community. We will cherish the memories of meeting Richard at the first Old Man River City Syntegration, where we got a taste of his humor and his pride in East St. Louis. With all our loving prayers, Dawn and Rowland

On behalf of RBF Dome NFP in Carbondale, IL, I offer our most heartfelt condolences to the Younge family. I met Richard in 1995 at a Syntegration at SIUE to discuss the Old Man River City project. The event created an environment that promoted conversation and he and I spoke at length about many subjects. I listened as he shared stories about his life experiences. He was extremely proud of his children and adored his wife. His daughter Margaret and wife Wyvetter were also at the event and I could see firsthand how blessed he was. A man can't ask for much more than to be proud father of wonderful children and have a loving lifelong companion like Wyvetter. His life was blessed. He will be missed.
