Thursday will be one year since the tragic death of Sister Rosemary. I think of her often and miss her greatly. She had an impact on many peoples lives.

Sister Rosemary was not only part of our our parish, ICC, but we were fortunate enough to be her neighbor. She lived below us for a time when we lived in IL. She was such an amazing woman, and I am so sad to hear of the tragic end to her life. I will miss her. :(

I attended Grade School at Immaculate Conception in Centreville Illinois at the time Sister Rosemary was the principal. She was my eighth grade teacher. My dad Louie Bauza was the caretaker of the parish so we were around the nuns quite a bit. I adored her and her wonderful love of music. She was the best choir teacher ever. I can still see her directing our choir in the upstairs balcony of the church. I remember how red she'd get in the face when we weren't singing it quite right but she never really lost her temper. Just tried to get our attention mostly. She is one of the big reasons I love music so much. Every time I play the organ in church it is her face I see first.
She will be missed so very much.
I'm sure she's leading the choirs of heaven now !

I just recently met Sister Rosemary at her Jubilee. We discovered we were second cousins and began corresponding with one another. I very quickly began to look forward to receiving her letters and will dearly miss looking for them in my mailbox. I realized what a very endearing and sweet person she was in a very short time. I will miss her. My condolences to her family.
