I worked with Tom as a Police Officer in Kirkwood. Tom was my friend and we had a lot of fun working together. He will be missed by all. He did a job that only a few of us can do. God grant you peace, love and serenity.

I have worked in Kirkwood for many years. Tom did not know who I was, but that did not matter. He was willing to serve anyone and everyone. I knew who he was, and he was a great asset for the entire community. He truely put everything he had out for others. It truely breaks my heart knowing his family will be with out him. I am so sorry. Officer Ballman, you will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace.
