By far the best teacher I ever had. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Carr will not be forgotten. I'm one of her students 30+ years ago. Wow and I remember her and I wanted to stay in her class. She taught me the difference between to, too, two. That had me scratching my head lol. She was an awesome teacher. I am privileged to have been one of her students.

To the Family of Mrs. Carr.
I wish to express my sincere condolences to you in this time of grief. Like many others, Mrs. Carr was my 1st grade teacher. As there was no preschool or kindergarten when I went to school some 40 years ago, Mrs Carr was truly my first teacher. She was a wonderful lady, and it was a sad day when I was promoted to the 2nd grade, knowing I would be leaving Mrs Carr.

Please take some comfort in knowing that there are men and women all over this country who adored Mrs Carr very much and are better people for having known her and been taught by her.

Sincerley,
Eric Horton Memphis Michigan

Ellen,
You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. We were blessed to have known both of your parents. What a legacy they left!
