Martin was a class person.. He was a wonderful role model for me growing into the fishing community. He accepted everyone and made you at ease immediately. I am grateful to have been his friend. We will all miss his quite confidence demeanor.

Martin was a wonderful person and friend .I fished with him on the New Moon for five years. He was smart, kind and a wonderful role model as an employer. He taught me how to work with people and to respect effort and hard work. I will always be grateful for having him in my life. I would not be where I am today without his example.Fair, kind and loving to all who knew him.He will be missed by all.

So many great memories playing with his wonderful daughters on Hawthorne Street and later the endless summer days waiting turns @ the Arco Dock with the NEW MOON and TERRY K.

Martin was simply different than the other fishermen. He projected a calmness and respect for others that I always admired.

I spent a lot of Saturdays caddying for my dad with his group of buddies at the club. I always admired Martin's grace and dignity. I also enjoyed a few days fishing on the New Moon. He will be missed.

For 25 years I fished off and on for Sea K Fish Company. Never once did I see Martin lose his temper. Even in the middle of so many long nights unloading fish until the sun rose again.

Martin was old school. His word was good. His checks were good. He treated his employees and community with respect.

Martin set an example. Thanks Martin.

Sea K fish employed many of my family members, starting with my grandmother Helen Stone back in the late 1960's. My mother Velda spent about 15 years filleting fish and canning crab for Martin Steve and George. They treated there employees like family. Martin was thought of very fondly as a man of integrity and being very kind. Please accept sincere condolences from our family
