So many treasured memories !Rod & Todd would zip into our place on the snow machine for a cup of cocoa before going out to research the fishing holes.

Rita, Cindy and Katie. We are very sorry to hear about Rod’s death. Kathy and I have fond memories of driving to Talkeena in a blizzard to be part of Katie’s baptism at Rod and Rita’s house. Rod was a very gracious host and it was worth the white-out conditions drive to be there. We grieve with you during this difficult time and pray that you will find peace and consolation in the days and weeks to come.

It amazing the simple memories that stay with us......I can still see Mr. & Mrs. Dunn walking over to our house in the evenings to visit with my parents when we lived in Talkeetna. So sorry for your loss.

I went to the AST Academy with Rod and saw him afterwards when he was assigned to Palmer Post. I lost track of him after he left the Troopers and did not know he was in the Talkeetna area. My condolences to his family. Rod will be missed.
