Arthur my friend, I miss you already! Our long talks and me listening to you recount your WW II exploits certainly helped in my Veteran Quest. I loved listening to how you survived for a week in the forest before being spotted by a German patrol. Luft Stalag IV is where they tried to dampen your spirits, but could not!
I will always want to hear more..

Those we hold closest to our hearts, never truly leave us. It was an honor to get to know, and care for Art. He was an incredible soul, who will forever hold a special spot in my heart. Though I will miss him very much, I can't help but smile in his memory, his stories, his laugh, and his jokes. (He would always tell me he was afraid of heights.) Praying for his family during this time of grief!

I am sorry, for your loss. Arthur was a great Veteran and a pleasure, to care for. He had many interesting stories, to tell. The most epic, one is his survival as a downed pilot, and of course, his, courtship of his, Love, his wife. God blessed, us with Arthur, to show, the zest he had.

May he now rest in Peace.
