Gary B. Pray 1948-2009 BENNINGTON Gary B. Pray, 60, a resident of Beech Street, died Thursday, October 15, 2009 at his residence following a long illness. Born in Bennington Nov. 9, 1948, he was the son of the late Carl and Hazel (Baker) Eastman. He received his education in the Bennington schools. Gary enjoyed his home and spending time with his dog Max. Survivors include a daughter, Penny Ledlie of Fla.; six grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Norma Myers of Bennington and Arthur "Butch" and Judy Eastman of Hoosick Falls, N.Y.; an aunt, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Gary was predeceased by a sister, Isabelle Pray. FUNERAL NOTICE: Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Should friends desire contributions in Gary B. Pray's memory may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter through the office of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main Street, Bennington, VT 05201.
