I can't believe that it Is the 10th day since you left us. I can't believe how strong I have been through this process. You would be so proud of me. I don't know that I have truly grieved yet. I know that you were such a loving dad, selfless provider, American hero, mentor, coach, patriot and Ops/Papa that any grandkids could ask for.
I am so blessed to have had you for 42 years of my life. You were amazing in so many ways. I hope you are flying those helicopters now! I will forever miss you, every moment of every day.
Thank you for loving and supporting five kids that turned out to be really good people with strong leadership skills. That's a reflection of you and what you instilled in us with mom's support at an early age and the support of both of you, along with Nancy's love and support as we matured. We had an awesome blended family and for that I will forever be grateful. For your service and humble sacrifice I am forever indebted.
I love you, Daddy! I'll see you when we hold hands and walk on roads of gold together.
An amazing man and loyal patriot. I wish Bruce's family all imaginable strength after such a tragic loss.
We enjoyed waiting on Bruce, and his wife at Kevin's. They were so pleasant. We are so deeply saddened of the news.
We are thinking of you, Nancy.
To The Entire Family of Bruce Niles,
I'm sorry I'm so far away, I would certainly be there if I could. Our families have shared many good times together, and the absence of the oldest "Niles Brother", at the next gathering will certainly be noted. Thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. May God surround you with love and hold you fast in His comforting arms, may He give you strength in the days that follow and peace knowing that your loved one feels no pain and has reached his reward in the home of his Heavenly Father. God bless and guide you all. With much love,
Wanda Ferrell (Niles) Sayce
Bruce was a true American. I enjoyed and appreciated his knowledge and coaching style during my baseball playing years.
He will be missed.
I have many fond memories of Bruce at the Post Office. Highlight of the day. Always bringing a smile and a laugh. He was a kind wonderful man.
Many hearts touched by one special life.
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your stepfather. I shared many a smile and kind word with him at the North Bennington Post Office when I worked in North Bennington.
May I share my favorite quote with you:
THIS world is not conclusion;
A sequel stands beyond,
Invisible, as music,
But positive, as sound
We were so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. He was such a great guy and so much fun to be around. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Maria and the Niles family.
So very sorry to hear of Bruce's passing...what an extraordinary man! Please know we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time...

Dear Niles Family,
My deepest condolences for your loss. Bruce was a true role model who was always a source of advice for those of us who grew up in North Bennington. His constant encouragement and acts of kindness have forever touched my life. Bruce gave me my first set of lieutenant bars and my first set of crossed cannons when I was commissioned as an artillery officer. I will always cherish these and they will remind me of Bruce's generosity and support. I hope you find comfort in knowing how impactful Bruce has been on the lives of countless people during his life. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
To the Niles Family,
Bruce was an inspiration to all of us at Cardiac Rehab. His passion for life and devotion to family, friends, and God led to a courageous battle to always have one more day to live it in. I was fortunate to be able to be his friend. You were lucky enough to be his family.

You hold a special place in my heart. I am sad for all the ones who love you. I am happy for you because I know you have new wings. I hope you can wear the "Uncle Sherm" shirt with them.

Nancy, Maria and Family,
I have many fond memories of Bruce. Many from when my mother and I worked at Powers Market and he would stop in for some lunch, and most recently when he would jokingly refer to me as his "barber". Bruce was a wonderful, kind and caring family man who was so proud of you all. His smile was contagious. He will be greatly missed, but has left many of us with wonderful memories. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Your dad was a good, and funny guy. He and Chuck Thompson flew together in Viet Nam and our families met at Ft Devens, MA. Bruce often made us laugh with his sometimes dry humor and wit. Although we did not see each other often, after leaving NE, the Niles Family remaines one of my fondest memories. Rest in Peace, Bruce. I am certain there were many angels waiting for you.
Bruce... mentor, hero, friend. Thank you for being part of my early years, providing that moral and ethical compass that I live by today.
You cannot know how much I miss you, Uncle Bruce! Some of my fondest childhood memories are with you. You were there for me when I needed you, and understood better than many what I was going through as a teen (only you know what I mean). I'll miss your stories and your take on things, and how you used to call me E-R-one-N. I wish I could be there to celebrate your life with the rest of the family. I love you, Uncle Bru-hee!
Thinking of you all. We're all going to miss Bruce and that smile he always had that was contagious and could cheer anyone up! I still remember all the times he came to visit us at UCONN and how generous and sweet he always was. He will be greatly missed. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
Bruce Niles was a "Prince among Men"..
He touched many lives with his kindness and warm smile..
We loved him dearly......
Our hearts go out to you in your time of grief. Know that Bruce was loved and touched many lives by his kindness, wit, service to others and faith.May God keep you in His care. With Sympathy, Jesse, Barbara & Ali Marino
I love you Dad. My life is better because of your wisdom and humor. I owe everything to you. They tell me it will get easier as time goes on, I just don't see that yet. I am glad we were with you to the end and now you have a new beginning. Without his Bennington medical team he would have passed years earlier, but you superb professionals worked your magic many times. Cardiac rehab gave him daily and weekly social interaction (with some rehab too). He loved you all!.
Nancy, Maria and family please accept our deepest sympathies during this difficult time. Bruce was such a wonderful man and we will cherish the memories we have of our times together. He was always there with a kind word and a smile! Please let us know if you need anything!
Nancy, Maria and family- our hearts are with you at this dark hour. Please know we are praying for peace and healing for you all. Much Love, The Hassett Famiy
Nancy, Pat,Dianna,Pete,Coco, Maria You are all in my prayers, and always in my thoughts. Bruce was the original "Niles Boy". He kept me headed in the right direction many times through our lives, and I often now think of how my life may have been different without him there for Me. I can't put into words how I will miss him. I love you all.
