So sad to hear of Jeanne's passing. I grew up on South Stream Road and Jeanne was one of my favorite neighbors. Jeanne visited my Grandmother often and I was always glad if I was there because I loved to sit and listen to her tell her stories. She was a great person. Lorraine (Lillie) Gates

I was so sorry to read of Jeanne's death. I enjoyed working with her on the Red Cross Board of Directors and as a volunteer (Grey Lady) at our hospital. I enjoyed her humor, quiet good sense and reliability. I shall miss her as I am sure many others will!

Thank you, everone for your kind thoughts and memories of Jeanne. For those who are wondering, Jeanne requested that no services be conducted after her passing. There will be a celebration of her life sometime in October. Sue Overstreet

Jeanne taught me the wisdom that comes with aging. I asked her a long time ago how she dealt with losing friends to death. She looked at me, her junior by about 30 years, smiled and said, "I keep making friends, younger ones." She was an incredible woman and a dear friend. I will miss her. I will continue to make friends, Jeanne, just as you did. With love, Dot Banks
