Although I never met Karl that I know of his Dad Karl was a customer of mine while I had a business in Chester. Being a mother of two children myself I can only imagine the incredible loss your family must be feeling over the loss of your son. May you find peace in knowing he is in heaven.
God Bless you and your family.

Dear Karl, Nicole, and Joanna,
Michael told me of your sad loss, the same week that Doug, the builder of my cohousing community, died at age 51 suddenly.
I had a wonderful dream the next day in which my higher self was helping him transition - as he could only see, but not be seen, by his wife and small child.
It moved me very much to have been accepted into your family 20 years ago now, when Karli was already master of the mountains and snow. And when Karli was off on his own, to have slept in his room.
Though I never really knew Karli as an adult, it's easy to learn through the other sympathy notes here about how deep, loving, and thoughtful he was, and I only regret that I never had one of the deep conversations with him that others mention. Your friends' words gave me an unbelievable picture of what he brought to this earth - I'm so glad this website has these memories!
As I walked outside under the millions of stars tonight, I can't help but think that Karli's love is still spreading far and wide and still touching many by living on in their hearts.
When my dad died at 53, and my best friend at 55, and now Karli so very young, I have to conclude that each of us just chooses our "time" and that our spirits keep on living and following their path.
May Karli always help keep the three of your hearts at peace, knowing he is now and always was so wonderful a gift to all of us.

Go into the light, Karli
Love, Peggy MacLeod
