Patricia Foster Obituary

BENNINGTON -- Patricia May (Hill) Foster, 67, a resident of BenMont Avenue, Bennington, died Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Bennington Health & Rehabilitation following a brief illness.

Born in Bennington, May 22, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Peter E.C. Hill and the former Eunice Lottie Camp. She received her education in the Bennington schools.

For many years Mrs. Foster was employed as a sales clerk at the Filene’s Department Store in Hartford, Conn.

Mrs. Foster’s main interests were her home and family.

Survivors include two sons, John Foster III of Bristol, Conn. and Stacey Foster of Bennington; two sisters, Eunice Kelson of Bennington and Harriet Proctor of Clifton Park, N.Y.; two brothers, Peter Hill of Olcott, N.Y. and Robert Hill of Wapato, Wash.; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Monday, July 28 at 12 noon with Rev. Norma Drosky, Pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating.

Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service when the family will be in attendance.

Private committal services will take place in the family lot in Village Cemetery.

If friends desire contributions in memory of Mrs. Foster may be made to the Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center through the office of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main Street, Bennington, VT 05201.
