I hardly think that a day doesn't go by that my thoughts don't think about Andy. He was the "best" friend anyone could have. I have
many memories of Andy. My best to all his family.

I well remember a day after Andy had been discharged from the Navy. He actually had been in the Naval Air Force assigned to a squadron called VP7. Most or all of his flying time was in a Martin P2V airplane. Air-cheen as he called it. One day at Bourne's garage we heard the sound of a large plane flying overhead. We ran outside to find that it was Andy's old plane and crew mates flying low over Manchester, I expect, to pay their respects to Andy. What a nice thing to for them to do. Of course Andy was ecstatic. We all waved and the plane went on its way.

My sincere condolences to the family of my dear friend Andy. We were immediate friends from the moment we met at BBS, now Burr & Burton Academy, as we shared much of the same interest in auto mechanics. I took Andy's place at Lynn Bourn's garage when he left for the Navy and well remember him living at the garage when his tour of duty was over. His favorite saying was, "Happy Motoring," which he told departing customers. We took many a trips to those refreshment places in Granville and to the State Line Restaurant. I even dated his sister. We kept in touch all through his life, especially after he married Janet. I have many memories which I will cherish dearly. This is truly the sad loss of a best friend. RIP my friend.

It was my pleasure to have known Andy for the short period of time I did. He was always smiling and never complained. I also had the
pleasure of knowing his family, who showed him love and compassion with their wonderful care. I will miss my visits with him, and will always remember his laugh amd smiling eyes whenever I visited. May he rest with the angels and his loving wife.

My heartfelt condolences.
