I was very sorry to hear of Mr. Stewart's passing; my deepest condolences to Bruce and family. When I was younger, I read the Clair Bee stories about high school sports--examples of how we should act; and how we should respect our teammates, opponents, and the games we played. When I met and got to know Mr. Stewart, and had the good fortune of playing in games he officiated, he made me think about those books. Thanks, Mr. Stewart, one more time.

Husband/Father/Coach/Principal...
tremendous man! "Mr. Stewart" we
always called him...my Principal &
hockey coach in Milton, VT. Most
importantly, Father to some of my
best friends/neighbors growing up!

I always respected and listened to him.
He was a great man all around! I hate
to think he's no longer with us, but
I know he left a phenomenal legacy
behind in Tim, Bruce , Bobby & Michael...
I miss you all and hope we can get together
in the near future!

What would Milton have been without
our awesome Families...too many to name
that all shaped our community/present lives.
Dick Stewart was the rock all of us could depend/lean on in Milton! I loved & will greatly
miss his presence in this life!!!

Love, Dan Lindsay

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Please find peace and comfort in Psalms 119:76.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Dick. He was my first principal when I started teaching in Milton in the 1980's and truly one of my favorites. Always kind, caring, dedicated to children, and full of energy. I remember him coming around the corner always greeting others with a friendly hello. I have thought about him over the years fondly!
Please accept my deep sympathy. I am sure he will be greatly missed
