1929 - 2016 ARLINGTON Barbara Jean Stroffoleno Ericksen, 87 , a resident of Sandgate Road died peacefully Wednesday October 19, 2016 at The Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington. Born in Bennington on January 24, 1929, she was the 12th child of 13 born to George and Rosanna (Paro) Stroffoleno. She received her education in Arlington schools and had worked for a short time at Mack Molding where she met her future husband, Erick. They were married in Arlington on July 3, 1947, Erick passed away on October 22, 2001. Barbara enjoyed her home and family, especially cooking and tending to the flowers around her yard, she had recently taken an interest in listening to music. She and Erick enjoyed camping and had camped from Maine to Florida, following his retirement they wintered in Florida. She leaves her son Edward Ericksen of West Arlington, daughter Sherry Ericksen of Bennington, sisters Dorothy Manning of Florida and Mary Miner of Manchester, grandchildren Laura Aldrich and husband Doug, their children Mia and Avrie, Kurt Ericksen and Erick Ericksen and his children Madison and Caitlin, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by siblings George, Vincent, Robert, Francis, William, Richard, James, Anna and Lucille. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 25 at 11am at The Chapel on The Green , burial will take place in the West Arlington Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home in Arlington on Monday from 5-7pm .
