Phyllis, its very difficult to say in a few words all the great times we have shared. You are my Aunt, yes my Aunt! Papa and Grandma Shoptaw were so happy that I was going to be their first granddaughter they were celebrating and they were surprised with another child! Yes, a beautiful girl, they named Phyllis. We grew up together, just a few months difference in our age. We had many good times playing on the Traskwood School ground, playing jacks at Grandma and Papa's along with many other fun games! I would spend the night with Grandma and Papa and we would need a snack at night, I remember so well you would say to me ........I'm hungry, I'm going to fry a potato; do you want me to fry you one? We did not have potato chips bought from a store, so we fried our own! Another good memory was papa would give us 10 cents and we would walk to the store to get a ice cream cone; or a soda or candy! Yes we could get two things with 10 Cents! You are going to a beautiful place and you will see Grandma, Grandpa, my daddy and my mom! Give them a hug for me and remember and cherish all the good times we shared!
Love you and see you in that beautiful place!!!!! Juanita Shoptaw Davis
