I Remember David and Cay when they lived in Windward Square in Winter Park. We all attended St. Richard's Episcopal Church. I will miss his sweet smile and gentle humor. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

"Uncle Dave" as we knew him was my favorite of all my parents friends. He was always so positive, witty, and fun whenever he visited us (Cleveland). I will always remember his smiling face and his gentle personality. I was delighted to hear from him again a few years ago as he was the last of my parents friends to reminisce with. My sympathies to all of his family and may Dave by the Grace of God enjoy eternal peace that he so deserves.

I knew your father as "Uncle Dave." He was very close friends with my father, Jim Mcguire, from elementary school on. Perhaps you remember my family when in Cleveland. I played with Tory during summer visits and remember you 3 younger siblings very well. Your father was such a gentleman and fun singing Tie me Kangaroo Down Sport! In past couple years we reconnected and he sent wonderful letter telling me history of how he met my mom & dad etc. Also sent great photo of his motorcycle & beloved cat. My sympathy to each of you children. Your father was a wonderful, beautiful man. I will miss corresponding with him & always remember him fondly.

Although I only knew Dave for about a year and we were more than 70 years apart in age, he always made me feel like an important part of his life and the life of Kimball Farms. He was always happy to see me and made me feel special. His sense of humor always made me laugh and he always made bad times better. He was as quick in his wheelchair as he was with his wit. Dave was so easy to know and to care about. He and I both enjoyed it when he would come sing with the residents in the LEP program. I was on vacation when Dave passed away and had been looking so much forward to sharing my pictures and adventures with him. Dave added so much to my world. I will miss him as we all will.
