We had gone our separate ways so many years ago - though I had read of his exploits in "Massachusetts Wildlife" over the years.
Always a terrible loss when such a great friend of the environment passes on.
Still hold the belief that I had more than a bit of responsibility in his life interest when my father brought us to the Berkshire Beagle Club with my first pair of 7x35's to watch the annual warbler migrations. It was the only way I could compete with his Cape Cod tallies !
Looks like you had a great and contributing life David - hats off to you !
