Dottie was a classmate of my husband, class of '57 and I met
her at Alumni reunions; she became a dear friend and we corresponded often. She was a wonderful person and will be missed very much. We were very sad to read of her passing.

Dottie: Today would've been your 75th birthday. I was coming to spend a few days with you to celebrate. We have been room-mates and friends for 56 years. We were like night and day when we met at Russell Sage. You were a New Englander,I was from New York. You were Protestant,I am a Jew. You were a die-hard Boston sports fan,I am a Die-hard New York fan. You were a dyed in the wool Democrat,I am a staunch Republican. Yet in spite of all the differences,we were best of friends since 1958. I will miss you tremendously dear friend. Rest in Peace. I will think of you often.

i WAS SO SORRY TO READ OF DOTTIE'S PASSING. I WAS ALSO SO GLAD TO READ THE GUEST BOOK SIGNING OF SOME OF HER STUDENTS. OUR CLASS OF '57 IS GETTING SMALLER. I DO WISH WE COULD HAVE GOT TOGETHER MORE. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE, DOTTIE, WE HAD A GOOD TIME IN SCHOOL. KAREN RUBYANN O'NEILL, SEBASTIAN, FL

Mrs Palmer was my kindergarten and 5th grade teacher. She was an amazing teacher who was kind and took time to really connect and inspire me and I think all if her students. I have so many find memories of her from Morningside. May she rest in peace.
