Ed, may you rest in peace. You were always so welcoming and sweet to anyone, whether they returned the favor or not. You were selfless and thank you for serving our country.

To All The Members Of the Passetto Family,
I will offer a Mass for Eddie and the intentions of you, Patricia, and all the family. After all his struggles, after proudly serving our country, I know that Ed now rests in final peace, in the hands of the Good Shepherd, who understood what Ed was going through, now welcoming him home, where he will know peace & love forever. God Bless You All.

Not how did he die, but how did he live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away.
