Dear Buddy Pellerin Family,
I just learned of cousin Buddy's passing and want to extend my deepest condolences. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

I played against Buddy's teams in Babe Ruth and when we ( ST.Joes) lost the Nothern Berkshire League Championship title to PHS IN 1966. He was a genius as a baseball coach. His impact on High School sports in Pittsfield was unmatched.Great coach but a greater teacher, mentor and person.

I was so sad to belatedly hear of the passing of Buddy. He was my coach with Ida and John's in the Babe Ruth League and also with the National League All Stars in 1963 and 1964. We won the Massachusetts Championship in 1964. We didn't have the best players, but we had the best coach.

In my entire life, I have only met a few people who could be called a mentor. Buddy was one of those.

Dear Pellerin family,

I am very sorry for your loss. Coaching softball with Buddy was the most enjoyable sports experience of my life. I learned so much from him. In addition, his energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude was infectious. Most importantly, he treated me with respect and became a true friend. I will miss him and always have fond memories.

"Is this Heaven?"
"No, it's Bay Shore, Long Island."
"Oh, it sure seems like heaven."

Rest in Peace Buddy!
