I am thankful that there are so many beautiful art pieces that will remind me of my dear Aunt Betty. I am so glad that my girls, Starla and Skylar, got to know Aunt Betty through her cards and letters she wrote to them.
My prayer for family and friends is that our loving memories of Betty will comfort us.
With love,
Amy

What an amazing woman! Betty always said it like it was, and lived life how she saw fit. God broke the mold on Betty! Amen.

So long my dear friend. The world has lost an incredible artist & teacher. I am indeed blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from you. You inspired me to challenge myself & attend the 2014 Art Expo in the Woodlands. Every stroke I make on each canvas is in your honor & I'm deeply saddened by your absence here, but I will see you again. Love in Christ,

Betty was a faithful child of God. She practiced the greatest commandment every day. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37. Betty's great love extended to her family and friends, always putting their needs above her own. I am thankful to have been blessed with a loving, caring, giving sister-in-law for more than 50 years. My heart is aching now but I will rejoice when we meet again in the presence of our Lord. Kitti Tolar

Betty,
I love you and miss you. I wish I could come to say goodbye. It is hard to let such a strong person, that's such a rock for our family, go. My prayers are with my family and anyone who knows Betty as we are all mourning such a beautiful person that will be missed but loved the same. We love you Betty

I met Betty when she came to chair yoga class. She shared many stories of her yoga studies in the 60's and offered readings. Her energy and bright spirit were inspiring. i missed her when she stopped coming to class and am saddened to hear that she has left us. We will remember her in class this week and practice for her.

I do not know what to say as I sit here thinking of Betty and all the years I have known her - Oct. of 1977 was my first painting class. She was an amazing person and I loved her dearly. We go back many years and had fun and shared so many things. I knew all her children but Caterina......Betty loved the Lord and I know she is in Heaven right now and has 2 eyes in which to see and 2 legs in which to walk. She died doing what she loved. she was a wonderful person in every way and I know that I will really miss her. Rest in Peace my dear friend.....Pauline
