To Fred's Family
I just found out about Fred's passing and I am sadden. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family. I worked with Fred on the police department back when we were both wide eyed young men. I never found a time I didn't enjoy talking with Fred. He was one of the good guys. He will be missed.
Mike and The Lopez Family
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. We have fond memories of Fred coming into our Restaurant (3 Son's). He would always light up our day with his great personality and beautiful smile. God Bless you all. Don and Isabelle Kuzoian
Dear Kathy, Krissy and Mike,
Janie and I want to acknowledge the passing of a very special guy. We loved to converse and he would respond by "building" the discussion, wanting it to go wherever it may. Whenever our visits ended, we left with that "peaceful, easy feeling". RIP Freddie; if we're fortunate enough we'll converse again one day.
Fondly, Bob & Janie Fritsch
Dear Kathy,Mike and Kris,
I was very saddened to hear about your loss. Freddie was a great police officer and friend. His sense of humor and great laugh will be missed. Many fond memories. My thoughts and prayers with you.
Kathy, Michael, & Crissy,
I considered Freddie a true friend. When I first came on the Wethersfield Police Department I rode with Freddie and he taught me many things about police work. He had a great sense of humor and was easy to talk with. I will truly miss him.
How fitting, my last memory of Fred, my dear friend and client for so many years, is of him smiling and saying good by walking out the door of my salon. As always he had used the time to entertain all of us with great stories and great conversation. Your day was better with Fred in it, my life was better with Fred and his family in it. I will miss him, too. Love Carmela Zavaglia
I just heard about my buddy today. My sincere condolonces. On behalf of the old red dog crew, he will be missed.
So sorry to hear this sad news. Fred was such a great guy - I always enjoyed seeing him and laughing during the Red Dog days of old.
We would like to give our condolences to The Lopez family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers
It was painful to hear of Fred's death, he was professional colleague who had an infectious smile and a great laugh. May he rest in eternal peace.
My sincere condolence to the entire Lopez family. Fred was a wonderful man with a huge heart for he always had that beautiful smile on his face that made others smile. I will always remember Fred driving by the house on his motorcycle and stopping to chat. One day my son when he was four yrs old drove into Fred's motorcycle and tipped it over and Fred said Don't worry about it. I have always thought of Fred he is an unforgettable person who will live on in our hearts forever.

Mike and Family,
Our most heartfelt condolences.
Kathy, Mike, and Kristina, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. This is a great loss to all who knew him. A gentleman and a mentor...he will be sorely missed. God bless.
Mike and TK,
Freddie was the real deal. He didn't pretend to be a cop, he was everything a real street cop should be. Be proud of what he was. I loved to see him riding his bicycle, then his motorcycle, riding hundreds of miles at a time. Freddie was a tough guy, but so easy to talk to and genuine. My condolences.
Mike, I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. Let us know if there is anything you or your family needs. Please know we will be there for you.
Dear Kathy, Mike and Kris,
We are very saddened to hear of your loss. Freddie was a very good police officer who everyone counted on to bring all issues to the table. Find comfort in knowing he made a difference in his own way.

One of the Best: Freddie Lopez: a fine police officer, a gentleman with an intense heart....belonged in a police movie/show series with those good looks, and smooth moves...he was awesome. Always enjoyed him in the morning at Abdows when I'd open the door for him before hours for a coffee....a great sense of humor and hardy laugh...will miss him...prayers to his family: losing a great man way too young. the whole montinieri family extends our wishes.
