Nikki , my deepest condolences .One of the greatest Chefs I had the pleasure to know I am just sorry I did not hear of this sooner so I could have paid my respects . As a Executive Chef now my passion and drive for food I owe to you and because of you Chef thank you ..you will be missed.

Dearest Nikki, My heart is heavy for your loss, I hold you close in thought and prayer. Jean Claude was one of the most talented, impossible, adorable, funniest, creative chef's I have ever known. I will always cherish my memories of working and playing with you and Jean Claude at LaTomate. Rest Peacefully Jean Claude.

So sorry to hear this news. I made the caramelized nut tarts for La Tomate when my daughter was a baby, and we had many delicious meals there, with Daphne waiting on tables and watching our rambunctious son. Jean Claude was a colorful, larger than life character, and the Berkshires will miss him....
