I rented a room from the Brackett's for a little over 4 years while I was employed in Dalton. Both she and her husband were the kindest and gentlest people one could hope to meet. I was alone in Pittsfield and they made sure that I was included in most family festivities even thought it was not incumbent on them to do so. I am genuinely sorry that both of these fine people are now gone. The world will be a lesser place without them.

So sorry to hear of Kay's passing. She was a great hugger and I always enjoyed her participation in our Bible studies. She was a good and supportive friend.

Sorry to hear of Mrs. Brackett's passing. I remember as a child visiting with her and her husband with the Webber Family. Family was a very nice family to know. Will be praying for all in this sad time.
Sue, Dick and family;
Although I did not spend much time with your Mom, I enjoyed every minute, wish I had taken more time. Sue & Dick, you took such wonderful care of Kay, and you know she was so very proud of you both and her family.
With our love and prayers for you both and for her. She is resting now.
Love to both of you.

To Sue, Dick and the Brackett Family,
My condolences go out to all of you in this time of sorrow. I was very happy to see your Mom at our Cavalier reunion a couple of years ago. We had a good time talking about all the fun we had together with the Cavaliers and the other Drum and Bugle Corps in Pittsfield. What made it so much fun was the support from the parents like Mr. and Mrs. Brackett. They were always there to cheer us on and support our Corps. And for that, we all were very thankful. Rest in Peace Mrs. Brackett your job on earth is done and the Kingdom of Heaven is your reward.
