I wanted to send the family and of course my childhood friend Maggie my deepest sympathy .I have many fond memories of the time we spent together .Mary was always very kind and generous to me when i would visit the house with Maggie or when i was invited to the lake ....Thank you for all of the wonderful memories,God bless you and your family, sincerely Lea Scott Schaffer
It was a privilege to have known Sally's mother although for a short time. She was a remarkable woman who will be missed by all those she touched but her lessons, left behind, will endure.
My sincere sympathies to the whole Coffin family for the loss of a wonderfully loving and accomplished human being.
Mrs. Coffin was a singular woman, and a role model for me growing up. She never stopped, was always going somewhere, doing something, working on a project. But she'd take time to talk to you, and I always felt welcome in her home. Her memory lives in all of us who were blessed to know her.
I didn't know Mary, but I've known two of her daughters for many years. What a wonderful mother, humanitarian, and citizen she was; I see it all in her children to this day. Such is legacy.
To the family of Mary - She was my idol and hero - she help me through a very rough period - always there with sound advise and comfort and support through some very dark days - She was little but mighty and everyone even the tallest of men looked up to her with great respect.
To the family of Mary, We want you know how fond we were of Mary and looked forward to her coming into the salon. That smile would melt your heart!
