It was a privilege to have known Nancy. There was never a better advocate for people with developmental disabilities. Her vision became actions that improved people's lives and transformed not only the lives of the people she supported but created social change that helped the rest of the world see the possibilities for a more inclusive community. Nancy's life was filled with challenges-more than most people could ever imagine-but she managed to rise above them and share her gifts and her talents with the old Vanguard family for over 15 years.
