Sheila, I am so sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you and all the Bounds family.
I was blessed to meet Hank the one year I ventured to compete in Twins. It was the only one NTDC he and I were at together. He, along with Jim March and myself were the only Yellow Drivers in Twins that year, and we made a pact early on in the competition to fill the podium with Swamp Holly Orange. Jim March was the only one that held up his end of the bargain, and was Grand Champion that year. Regardless of how I finished, the experience was "Fantastic" because of Hank! From the initial introduction his smile was so warm, he made me feel as if we had been friends forever. That week we spent together was one I'll never forget. Hank was the epitome of what I see a professional driver to be. He was committed to safety, passionate about the industry and achieved excellence along with respect from his peers. I have no doubt Yellow's success in Massachusetts were in part because of Hank. I'm sure when he came through each and every customers door he he delivered joy right along with his freight. His attitude was exceptional and just being around him made you feel "Fantastic". If you knew Hank, I know you are better because of it. He was caring and just fun to be around, and I will miss him.
