Sean, Kerry, Patty and families -
I am stunned to receive the news of your father and husband's passing. It is with utter grief that I write to express my sympathy.
It seems life is more fleeting than we imagine...
It's really hard to put into words just how significant your father was in my life. As I sit weeping for your loss, images are flooding my mind of his warm smile and how loved he made us all feel. Indeed, through the years as I have reflected on those that helped shape me, were pillars in my own development, your father is at the forefront.
As a teacher, I can only hope to carry a fraction of the grace, kindness and compassion your dad had.
I am grateful for all the gifts he gave me. Please know his legacy lives on in many of us, especially those of us who have gone on in his footsteps as educators.
He was an absolute treasure and I will miss him deeply.
If I had known before this, I would have come to honor his memory.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Elizabeth Taylor

Michael Linehan and the Linehan family wish to express our heartfelt sadness at Jimmy's passing.I met Jimmy as a very young hockey goalie at the Boys Club youth program in the 60's. I enjoyed seeing Jim on Tennis nights at BWAC most recently. A Fun and honorable man, a big part of the "Hockey Family" for generations.

Pat, Sean, And Kerry,

I've been completely at a loss for words all week in learning about Jim's passing. I carry so many fond memories of Coach Anderson. His kindness and courage in leading the '90 PHS hockey team has always been a source of inspiration for me. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Andersen family-

I was very sad to hear of Coach's passing. I have fond memories of him during JV soccer days at PHS and also seeing him at the Boy's Club coaching my brothers in hockey. May your memories of him be a blessing.
Sincerely

Pat,Sean and Kerry....pls accept my sincere condolenses on Jim's passing. The relationship that I and the entire Murphy family had with Jim was amazing....from educator,coach,referee,tutor...he was a great man impacting the life of anyone he came into contact with. There is one trait that is most important than any other...and it is what I will always cherish..he was my friend. I don't know what my father has been doing without Jim on his bench the last 26 years...they have now been reunited...they have a hell of a team now...Murphy,Andersen,Gionet,Viale, Leach..looks like another State Championship coming his way.
The entire Andersen family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Very sorry for your loss! I always enjoyed seeing Jim. He was very happy and friendly! Jim's abilities as a teacher and coach helped many young people reach their potential as adults. I will be thinking of you during these difficult times.
