Deepest sympathies to all that had known him and loved him. What an amazing picture to remember him by.

Much love Nicole Kanable and John Bartells

This is a little tale of a musical adventure Jimmy and I had some years ago.

I once had a German Shepard that fancied
himself a music critic. He would tolerate
my guitar playing and at times he could be lulled to sleep. When I tried playing a harmonica with the guitar, Rex would howl and howl and howl. After several sessions, I quit the harmonica because his howling sounded better than my playing.

Sometime after my last harmonica session
with Rex, Jimmy stopped at the house to
play his new fiddle. I joined in with my
guitar and from out of nowhere, Rex burst
into the kitchen, where we were playing
and stared to bark. He stood with his nose nearly touching the fiddle. The
faster Jimmy played, the more Rex barked.
When Jimmy slowed his playing, Rex slowed
his barking. I stopped playing, but Jimmy
and Rex continued. Finally, I tied Rex
outside. I came back in and Jimmy and I
played a few more tunes.

Jimmy said that he had a chance to play in a band and wanted to know what I thought. I said he sounded great and I
asked if he would consider having Rex
accompany him. He laughed and shook his
head.

I wished him well and as he left, I noticed our music critic was curled up
and fast asleep.

Jimmy and I didn't get together all that
often, but when we did it was fun.

Irene and I wish Karlene and the rest of
the Mc Avoy family our deepest condolences.

God bless
Wally and Irene Morrison
