Mr. Maclean was a favorite teacher and coach, and one of the main reasons I studied engineering in college. He was a great teacher, warm-hearted, and quick-witted. We loved his ohm jokes! My deepest condolences to his family. I know this is a great loss, but you must have wonderful memories that I hope can comfort you.

To Coach Maclean's Family
Truly sorry for your loss. He was my coach on the NHS football team in late seventies. Taught more than just football at those practices, also taught about life.

My and my family's condolence to the entire MacLean family. I met John many years ago, growing up in Williamstown, when my brother Jim was lucky enough to become engaged to and marry Lorna. As a then teen age boy I was in awe of John's football exploits. Lorna has kept us updated on your family over the years, and this lovely write-up shows what a wonderful man, mentor, teacher, and dad John became. He obviously touched a lot of people, made the world a better place for them, and he will live on through them and you.

My Condolences to the Maclean family and rest in peace John. I remember John as a tough hard nosed football player and a great leader from our days at WHS. Since I was a sophomore when John was captain I always looked up to him and I never forgot his mental toughness.
