Dear George and family,

we are shocked reading just before Christmas the sad news of Marlene's passing away more than one year ago.
By marriage she became my aunt. I met her two times when she came over with George to see the family in Germany. Once and a while we talked on the phone. I'd loved to meet her again.
I like to remember her winning smile and her being open-minded and fun-loving.
Our deepest sympathy to the family.

To Barbara Swanson, thank you for signing my mother's guest book. We are touched and consoled by your comments. She would have been so pleased to be remembered for her smile, good will and spirit. Know that your words are deeply appreciated . Thank you for taking your time to write in her online guest book. Lynn Barr

David, I remember you well. One day I visited Harsch Associates with my mom, and remember meeting you. My mom admired your ease, and success. She once told me a little story about what you would say that was funny.
When my mother would go to the coffee pot, you would say, " Watch out everyone. Marlene's getting coffee. (pointing to the walls)...."ping ping...ping ping. There she goes...." Very cute.
(I have news for you, she stayed very energetic, even when she switched to decaf). (Smile)
David, thank you for your kind comment. It would have made her happy, and it means a lot to us, that her drive was inspirational to you and others.
