Michael A. Novicky
1961 - 2014 CLARKSBURG Michael Anthony Novicky, 53, of Clarksburg, died Thursday July 3, 2014, at his home. He was born in Danbury, Conn., on March 2, 1961, son of Anthony Novicky and Palma (Pisco) Smith. He attended New Milford High School. Michael was a contractor and operated his own contracting business for 30 years. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Michael enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Michael taught his loved ones how to be grateful for what they had in life and to never sweat the small stuff. His greatest joys in life were his daughters and granddaughters. Survivors include his two daughters, Michelle Davis of Goldsboro, N.C., and Heather Mittleider of Smithfield, N.C., and two granddaughters, Lauren and Kadynce. He also leaves his sisters, Lisa Novicky, Amy Novicky, Angela Novicky, Joi Cowley, and Hope Smith; his brother, Bob Maynard, and several nieces, nephews,aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves his longtime companion, Debra Babeu, her children, Wendy Czarnecki, Felicia Underwood, Jason and Joshua Babeu, and grandchildren, Ashley Thompson and Brandon Czarnecki. FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Michael Novicky will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014, from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by the funeral at 6 p.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Hey Grandpa Mike, it has been a long time since we talked. I wish you were here. Guess what? I am turning 13 in 5 days. I just wish you were here to see it. I love you and I will always remember you and our memories till the day I die. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I miss you! I hope that you catch plenty of fish in heaven. You were the best Grandpa anyone could ask for. I never will forget you! Rest in peace. I wish you were here.
