Roberta "Bobbie" Raspuzzi
1943-2014 GREAT BARRINGTON Roberta "Bobbie" Raspuzzi 70, of Great Barrington, died Tuesday April 15, 2014, at Timberland Heights Rehab and Nursing Home in Great Barrington. She was born in Great Barrington on December 14, 1943 daughter of Robert H. and Edith C. Chenot Kinne. Bobbie attended local schools and graduated from the former Searles High School class of 1961. She enjoyed golf and was a member of the Ladies Twilight League at Egremont Country Club and volunteered at the Corpus Christi Bazaar for many years. Bobbie's husband Dennis R. whom she married on November 3, 1962 in Corpus Christi Church predeceased her on December 8 2001. Bobbie leaves two sons, Michael D. Raspuzzi of Leominster, Mass., and Mark J. Raspuzzi and his wife Marie of West Springfield, Mass., one daughter Joan Marie Gagnon and her husband Scott of Hollis N.H., four brothers Michael J. Kinne of Great Barrington, Thomas A Kinne of Great Barrington, Peter J. Kinne of Sheffield and Eugene A. Kinne of Great Barrington, one sister Donna E. of Great Barrington and four grandchildren Michael Raspuzzi Jr., Nicole Raspuzzi, Griffin Gagnon and Davis Gagnon. She was also predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Christine M. Raspuzzi. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Roberta "Bobbie" Raspuzzi who died April 15, will be held on Thursday April 24 with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church, Corpus Christi Parish, Housatonic, with the Reverend William P. Murphy pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bridget's Cemetery. Family will receive friends on April 23 from 4-7 PM at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME 33 South St Great Barrington MA 01230. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Bobbie's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society in care of the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME at 33 South Street, Great Barrington, MA. 01230. Michael I was very sorry to hear about your Mom. Your Dad and my dad were good friends until my Dad passed in 1982. My Mom thought the world of your Mom. She was heartbroken to hear about her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Michael, you were always such a nice guy, and I know you made your parents proud.
