Mr. Weber, your art class was my favorite part of the day in elementary school. You were a fantastic teacher and it I wish you were still here today.

I just learned of Ricky's passing. I first met Rick when I was 16 - working alongside him in my father's construction business in the late 70's. Rick's ready smile is etched in my mind - a true renaissance man that lit up everyone around him. His passing is a great loss. The fact of his existence, and the light I still feel when remembering the time spent with him more than 30 year ago, is a great treasure. Thank you, Ricky, and fare well.

Mr. Webber was an incredible teacher. Both of our children cherished him as their favorite teacher and our whole family is so sorry to hear of his passing. He ignited a passion for the arts in both of our girls and we will miss him very much.

Mr. Weber was one of our favorite teachers at Muddy Brook. He was kind to everyone and we always looked forward to his class. We will miss him.

Words cannot express the impact that Mr. Weber had on me as a child. Combining his creative passion with thoughtful patience, he showed me how to work with clay, paint, and paper to express both what I saw, and what I hoped to see in the world around me. The time that I spent in his classroom was always my favorite part of the day, where I felt the most comfortable, and was able to express myself most authentically. Put simply, he taught me to love both the practice of art, and the art in myself. His teaching has stayed with me all my life and has greatly shaped the artist, and person I am today. I speak for not just myself, but for all of my siblings, and my husband too, when I say how truly thankful we are to have had him in our lives as our art teacher.
