Rick loved Shakespeare...to this end...let's hear the eulogy from London...

...Rick will be missed. On the order of a half of a century of his life here on Earth...cut too short; however, he has accomplished a lot.

Graduating from BCC with two degrees and a Williams College graduate.

Buying rental property, opening his own store Rick Moons Outdoors, taking business executives fly fishing like from Kaybees.

...buying a 5 series BMW and then a Land Rover...

Then the wonderful wedding at Cranwell...

The most precious time for me was when us three Brothers went Kayaking on the Bowl (Stockbridge Bowl) in August for our twenty fourteen Birthdays...thanks Chris for making it happen... this was the last family time I had with my brother...

...though on the Stockbridge bowl we met by accident on that bench overlooking the waters several times talking about everything, but nothing ...

Then from January, being home from California of this year, we texted daily about nothing, but everything...

Chris, thanks for getting me into texting and buying the phone for Rick...

...He was taken from us too soon....

...Corrine...Rick loves you so much...

I am heartbroken. I cannot imagine paddling the Bowl and not seeing Rick's smiling face on the water. Such a kind, giving, and genuine soul . . . what a loss to our community. May his beloved Corrine know always how much he loved and worshipped her. My condolences to his family. Namaste, Rick.

I was heartsick to hear of Rick's passing. He was truly one of the kindest and gentlest men I've ever known. Like many kids of my generation (I'm as old as Rick), my father took me to his grandfather's store to buy my first spinner outfit. In 1992, Rick sold me my first really nice fly fishing rod and reel (a 5 weight Sage rod and Lamson reel). I was fishing with it just two weeks ago. I'm so sorry for the entire Moon family's loss, especially Rod, and Rick's dearly loved daughter, Corrine.

I am saddened to hear of Rick's passing. I came to know Rick from paddling on the Bowl and we soon realized that our fathers had been friends. We shared memories of them and of local history. He spoke highly of anyone he ever met and especially highly of Corinne. I will never forget his warm and giving nature. My condolences to his family.
