I felt a connection to Stanley as he and my father were both fighter pilots in Europe. I remember Stan's mischievous sense of humor. One time at Stan and Rose's for dinner brownies with ice cream were the dessert. Stan knew that I had been raised with stringent table manners. He and Tom proceeded to relish in licking the ice cream off their plates just to get my goat! It's a very endearing memory as I can recall the twinkle in both of their eyes. Stanley will be sorely missed.

I'm sorry to say I haven't seen Uncle Stan in a while but I sure have some very fond memories of him and Aunt Rose visiting with our family in New Britain. When my dad was sick, I remember you two coming down for a visit. You don't know how much that meant to us! My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Stan was my son in law's dad…and truly was a delight to know. Even though our meetings were few, they were truly enjoyable. He always had a twinkle in his eye, and a smile on his face…God bless.

I only knew Stan through our infrequent meet ups during he and Rose's visits to Burlingame. He always had a friendly smile. I am sure he will be sharing that smile with both his old and new friends.
