Dear Michael, Karen, Jennifer, Barbara and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Sue's passing, but I know she is now at peace and her suffering has ended. She loved you all very much. Sue was my best friend in high school and was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I spent many a wonderful day at the house on Thompson Parkway(when we should have been in school) with Mom Carolyn and Pop Peter playing rummy, eating rye toast, drinking instant coffee and watching "Days of Our Lives " Sue and I were in Elsbeth Wayne's Chorus together and traveled to Europe in the summer of 1971...let's just say Europe was never the same and Mrs. Wayne deserved sainthood after chaperoning us!
I will miss her feisty spirit, her wonderful laughter and her unconditional love.
I am sorry I will be unable to attend the service on Friday. I am out of state until next Monday. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
With love,
Eileen Torchio-Heidemann (AKA "Tork" to Sue)
