Sue gave "sussies" to her friends to show them love on average days. She was a precious "aunt" and loved well those whom she cooked for. I recall her generous service to elderly. I remember her collecting Raggedy Ann dolls. (Perhaps she identified with the doll due to her early struggle with Polio or thoughts about vaccinations.) I am looking for ways to carry on her legacy of love and kindness...caring for elderly, creating, eating bowls of strawberries until my pants pop. She is a hero in my heart, a beloved adopted aunt, a beautiful spirit indeed. She loved God and others passionately.
My heart feels overwhelmed with memories of fun-filled days in Big Spring with Sue (and Flannel).
