I was granted the privilege and honor to become a stepdaughter of Pop. Although I only had the blessing of knowing him about 2-1/2 years he made a big impact on my life and I am thankful for the time I had with him. His humor, his helpful and gracious nature and his tremendous love for his family and country will be missed. His love for God was strong and he shared that love of God with others, He never met a stranger as a simple hello turned into friendship, My Mother (Claudia Jinright) was married to Pop for the last 2 years and they loved each other and enjoyed their time and companionship together. Pop was special to me and will always be in my heart and so missed,

Mr. Jimright was our commander and loyal friend to The Ladies Auxilary of Post 123 American Legion. He will be missed by all! Our prayers and sympathy go out to Claudia and the Family.

Pop went to be with our Lord this morning at 1:00 AM. He wasn't feeling too well before he went to bed and he left us shortly thereafter. Becky shared a wonderful devotional with him earlier in the evening and he and I prayed before he went to sleep.

Sunday was a great day for him. He felt good, had a constant flow of visitors, and was surrounded by his family, friends, and neighbors. He reminisced, laughed, watched TV, feasted, and truly enjoyed himself. He loved life and lived it to its fullest but more importantly, he was a Christian and he was at peace. For that, we are thankful.

Pop was my father and grandfather, mentor and hero, but most of all, he was a true friend in every sense. He loved his family and supported them in whatever they aspired to do. He was genuine, loved unconditionally, did not judge, and was always there to listen - and to help, if you asked. There is now a big void in our lives but he was also a good teacher so we shall be able to carry on.

Although he had not been feeling his best, we have all had some quality time with him over the past few weeks and we have been blessed. He was a great man and was adored by all who knew Him. His love was far-reaching and he will be dearly missed.
