I recently learned of Mr. Fowler's passing and wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy to hisfamily. I was an accompanist for Minor High School Choir under Mr. Fowler's direction. Mr. Fowler's musical influence and inspiration impressed us with a greater appreciation of music that was everlasting. Just wished Minor High School Choir had reunions and sing those glorious songs again under Mr. Fowler's direction.
It was an honor for me to be in Mr. Fowler's choir at Minor High School in the 1960s. He truly loved music and he encouraged all of us to be the best that we could be. May God's love surround you at this difficult time.

My family and I were sad to hear of John's death. My late husband and John were room mates for two years at the University of Alabama. They both loved music.
We were so sad to hear of John's death. Our love to all of the Fowler family.

Dear Beulah, It's comforting to know that those who die in Christ are not lost, nor are they gone from us forever. I look forward to seeing John again as we sing our Great Redeemer's Praise!
John was truly an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a wonderful teacher and friend to his students in the choir at Minor High. He inspired and encouraged us to do our best. My heart goes out to his family at their very large loss. Linda Siniard Fordham
Mr. Fowler was my choir director at Minor in 1963-64. He inspired me so with music. I will remember him fondly. My sympathy to all you who will miss him.
I just submitted a message and failed to sign my name.
So sorry to hear about Mr. Fowlers death.
So sorry to hear this. I was in Mr. Fowler's class his first year at Minor High School. I always liked him and admired his love for music.
John was the best teacher I had at Minor. He had the best outlook on life.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
John was my high school choral teacher. He wanted us all to succeed! When I became a runner I appreciated his years of devotion to the high note run. He loved his family and it was always a pleasure to see him at church.
John was such a good neighbor. We are one of the neighbors who's paper he put on our porch every morning. We enjoyed talking to him and will miss all his kindness. Our prayers are with you.
Beulah, Mitch and Shaw - I am so very sorry for your loss! I know he will be truly missed and greatly remembered by us -- who knew him. It is my prayer that God gives you peace and comfort.
