Dorothy I am sorry I am so late getting this message out. Unfortunately I was in south FL and could not attend the funeral. I am very sorry to hear about Paul and was praying he would be OK. He was a great friend and classmate of 45-B Pilot Class and I really appreciate all he did to keep us informed. He will be sorely missed.
Bill, I am very sorry to hear about your dad. I enjoyed my visit with you and your parents a little while back at Golden Living. Your dad was always a delight to talk to. I am sorry that I didn't get to know him sooner. I know you will miss him. Alan Brooks
I am so sorry to hear of the losss of PAUL. We are never ready to give family up.
Paul was an inspiration and role model to all who knew him. He and I were fellow classmates in Army Air Corps, Pilot Flight Class 45-B during WWII. I have only fond memories of this remarkable gentleman and the times we spent together.
I am sorry to hear about Paul's death. He was a man I much respected as he served as my Sunday School teacher as a teenager at Calvary Tuscaloosa. I will never forget the time that he took his Sunday School class up in a small plane and flew us over the City of Tuscaloosa. He also hired me one Summer to paint gas meters for Alabama Gas Company when I was 18 years old.
I remember his well from his days in Tuscaloosa and his faithful service at Calvary Baptist Church Tuscaloosa. I also remember his faithful service as a Rotarian here.
My prayers are with the family from his passing, but I know that he is now enjoying the celebration in Heaven.
God bless you all.
