ADAMS, MRS. LIZZIE MAE Homegoing is 10:30 Saturday at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Zion, 105 Parker Springs Rd., Brighton. Pastor Sylvester Miller, III, Officiant. Entombment follows at Highland. Our beloved was a Bessemer native, graduate of Dunbar High School and retired clerk of Loveman's Department Store. She served as Sunday School Teacher, Missionary and Steward in fellowship at Bethel for many years. Lizzie was a member of Ladies Limited Civic and Culture Club. The widow of Mr. Webster Adams was granted eternal rest on Friday, December 7, 2012, after a fulfilling life of 100 years. Survivors include sisters, Leana Phillips, Mildred Wynn Varner, Dorothy Wynn Clore, Sarah Wynn Smith, Marion Wynn Sessor and Edna Wynn (Wogan, Sr.) Woodard.
