ANNETTE PITTS

Aunt Annette was a rock for me as I know she was for many others! I don't deal with loss very well and it is especially hard to be still and know I cannot call her anymore. My childhood memories involve many thoughts of Aunt Annette. As an only child, I longed for playmates and she was kind enough to get down in the floor and play with me... tea parties with teddy bears and dolls. We shared many hugs and laughs and comforting words as I grew older. I miss her terribly!

Annette, I am really missing you from the bottom of my heart. You have gone....

Milton - I was so very shocked and saddened to learn of Annette's death. What a fabulous lady she was! Annette was my very first friend when I was hired by Dr. Pretlow in 1980 and began working at UAB. We shared lunch together many times, and told stores of the old days in the lab. I always enjoyed hearing updates about you, her precious dog, and Alabama football!
