Jane was among a prime jewel among a lifetime of friends. Her kind words were often spoken with a levity which evoked both smiles and discussion. . Her presence in our exercise class make it more interesting. We loved hearing about Duffy, her Ikebana classes, and listening to her soft spoken words were a balm in this rough world. Her vase and kinase collection showed how much she loved design, beauty and order. I shared roses with her and despite the shade in her lovely back yard, she could get them to bloom. Her "eating was an inspiration - never a complaint about losing one of life's most delightful pleasures. Would that we all could be so well remembered. She did love her family, Duffy, her friends, Scrabble, art and life. Life was richer to have her in it. and just across the creek for me. We will all miss her and our hearts go out to her family and close friends. Jane H

I met Jane within a month after my family moved to Mtn. Brook, in 1974. This meeting was the result of my daughter and Jane's daughter's friendship, and Jane became my very close and dear friend for 40+ years. She was funny, blunt, a great fill-in hostess for me, very supportive long-time of piano interests with Josh, a compatible overnight traveler, and well-liked by all who knew her. My deepest sympathy to her family. I, too, miss her terribly, but know she is in a better place.

Dear Family of Jane,
What a delight your mother was to all of us lucky enough to know her. She was a bright corner in our neighborhood, always ready with words of wisdom and acts of kindness. She loved her family, her little dog, her friends and the quiet comfort of her beautiful Oasis of a yard.
She navigated through life with a quiet dignity that was inspirational.
She leaves an empty spot in many hearts.
Prayers and blessings
