Leslie,
I so regret that I did not know about the death of your husband.
I am so very sorry for your loss. May the Father of tender mercies comfort and strengthen you during this difficult time.

Johnny, my brother and I used to play golf together when we were teens. Used to play at the old Zamora and Highlands golf. I lost contact when I joined the Navy in 1967. I remember every time we played golf he would pull a penny out of his pocket and throw it across the golf course. He said we had to appease the Birdie Gods. Those were great times. He will be missed.

Leslie, we always counted you both as great friends to us during our time at Barnes & Noble and we think of you often. We were encouraged, laughed with, and loved by both of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time and in the future. Much love, Patrick and Erin Lakey
