To the Cox family. You have all been sisters and brothers to me and my family. Rev. John Ricky Cox, as we called him in Fairfield, Alabama was like a brother to me. He was a kind and respectful soul . My heart is still broken on the death of his sister Phillis Zimmnie, Baby sister, who was the first black air line stewardess Bobbie. The first black policeman in Fairfield his brother James. I love and respect the whole family. Jackie and Boo
Johnnie Mae the school teachers like myself. An outstanding and loving family.
Ricky we all are going to miss you. The loving kindness of you always. God Bless you. We know you are in heaven. Love always

Dear Eleanor,
I am praying for you as you are experiencing this very difficult time in your life. You and your children were blessed to have had a husband and dad who served God in miraculous ways. He was a servant and leader. He touched peoples's lives In significant ways and brought others to Christ. I did not know him very well, but I still know you Eleanor. You always loved God and God brought two Godfearing people together to work in the vineyard. You listened and obeyed and that's why you are blessed. God will take care of you and I will continue to pray for you always.
